She was left devastated earlier this year when she discovered that she had PIP breast implants.
But TOWIE star Lauren Pope turned the situation to her advantage when she was forced to have the implants removed - deciding to take the opportunity to go from a D-cup to a DD.
And what better way for the 33-year-old star to show off her new figure than to wear a tiny animal-print bikini as she hit the beach in Santa Monica.
Lauren looked delighted with her new figure as she strolled along the white sands, covering up later in a mint green kaftan as she made her way back to her hotel.
The pretty blonde star has just returned from her holiday in Los Angeles with her best friend and TOWIE co-star Chloe Sims.
As well as flaunting her new cleavage, Lauren also showed off her noticeably healthier-looking figure, after gaining weight to take her up to a size eight.
Lauren, who dropped to a tiny size
six following her split from Kirk Norcross, said recently of her weight
gain: 'I was desperate to put on weight and now everyone says I look a
lot healthier. My collarbone and ribs aren’t jutting out any more – I
feel sexier!
'I didn’t feel like myself when I was a size 6 – I looked so tired and skinny.'
Lauren first had breast implants at the age of 23, when she spent £4,000 to take her from a 34B to a 34D.
But in January, Lauren admitted that she was terrified after discovering that she had been given PIP implants.
About 40,000 British women received the type of implant, manufactured by French company Poly Implant Prostheses (PIP), which has now closed.
They were filled with non-medical grade silicone intended for use in mattresses.
Although she was initially afraid of having the operation Lauren took the opportunity to slightly increase her bust size.
She said earlier this month: 'I always try to put a positive spin on things.
'I’d never been fully happy with the shape and position of my first set, so why not use this to my advantage?
'I’ve gone up another size, so I’m a DD now and they’re a slightly different shape.'
Lauren is now back in the UK working hard filming the fifth season of The Only Way Is Essex.
