Inside Soap Awards 2011: Nicola McLean uses a bin to steady herself as she leaves the Inside Soap Awards

While many soap stars emerged from Gilgamesh looking bleary eyed after celebrating at the Inside Soap awards there was one guest in particular who left looking a little more than worse for wear.
In fact, glamour model Nicola McLean appeared unable to stand unaided as she left the party.
The 28-year-old sought the help of a wall, a bin and her friend to keep her upright as she waited for a car to take her home.

Not only was Nicola struggling to remain vertical but it seemed she had also lost the ability to hold her head up too.
After scraping her elbow against a wall and using her hand to hold herself up a pal came to her rescue to try and keep her on her feet.
But as the pair passed by a big bin, Nicola was forced to steady herself against it, a distinctly unglamorous scene.

Worse for wear: The 28-year-old glamour model was seen leaving Gilgamesh on the arm of a friend looking worse for wear but she soon used other objects to help her stay upright

Luckily Nicola had a friend, who appeared to be sober, on hand to help and carried the model's goodby bags from the awards ceremony for her.

And as the woman called to see where there car was she also allowed Nicola to rest her head on her chest.

When her car home finally arrived the mother-of-two slumped into the backseat on her side, with her head in her hands.

Feeling embarrassed? Nicola looked a little sheepish and held her head in her hands as her friend led her away from the bin

Earlier in the evening Nicola had arrived at the bash, which was sponsored by Jackpotjoy.com, looking on much better form in a floor-length white gown with a scooped out back and jewelled strap detail.
But while Nicola was no doubt one of the most unsteady as she left the party she was by no means the only person who had indulged at the party.

Michelle Keegan, who picked up the sexiest female soap star gong for the third time was also in the mood to celebrate.
The Coronation Street stunner, 24, spent the night, and the early hours of this morning partying the night away with her co-stars.

Earlier in the evening: Nicola had arrived looking much more sophisticated in a floor length cream dress with backless detail

Michelle, who plays Tina McIntyre on the Manchester-based soap, was looking worse for wear as she left the Inside Soap Awards after scooping the coveted sexiest female award.
The actress appeared bleary-eyed and had pink lipstick smudged across her cheek as she left the bash to continue the party elsewhere.

And party she did with her Coronation Street co-stars, with Michelle and Sacha Parkinson not getting to bed until 6am this morning.
Michelle tweeted a snap of herself and Sacha snuggled up in bed this morning and also posted:'Me n @SachaLParkinson just going bed after a very random night in the Capital!! Hehe!! #insidesoaps'

This way dear: While Alice was looking a bit worse for wear she had her former Hollyoaks co-star Bronagh Waugh on hand to guide her to the car

Showing off: Strictly star Robbie Savage showed off his fancy footwork dancing with a friend outside the party

Former Hollyoaks star Alice Barlow also left the bash looking like she had enjoyed her night jumping into a car with actress Bronagh Waugh.

While other soap stars appeared to fall out of the awards Chris Fountain and Waterloo Road's Rebecca Ryan appeared much more steady as they made their exits.
