Sisters' day out!
Princess Kate Middleton and her sister, Pippa, came together Saturday to attend a pal's wedding in Lambourn, Berkshire, England.
Photographed together for the first time since Kate became the Duchess of Cambridge when she married Prince William April 29, the sisters turned up 15 minutes before their friend, jockey Sam Waley-Cohen swapped vows with event planner Bella Bailin.
Other guests at the ceremony, held at St. Michael and All Angels Church, included Princess Beatrice, Holly Branson and Guy Pelley.
Decked out in black hats and dresses, Kate, 29, and Pippa, 27, clapped and cheered as the newlyweds took a cue from Kate's own ceremony and drove away from the church in a vintage Aston Martin decked out with a "Just Married" sign.
Later, the sisters opted not to attend the reception, and instead headed to their family's home in Bucklebury, Berkshire for dinner. Saturday proved to be an especially busy day for Kate, who attended theTrooping the Colour military parade on the arm of her husband that morning.
A socialite and favorite of the paparazzi in her own right, Pippa let her sister take center stage during their weekend outing.
"When [Pippa] is by herself, she is smiling and really rather welcoming to the presence of photographers," a source tells Us of Kate's little sis, an event planner. "She enjoys that moment. But with Kate, she seemed rather subdued and less herself. She stayed in the shadows and seemed to be careful not to be seen as taking any attention away from Kate."
