The Duchess of Cambridge has been criticised for her love of Eighties-style sheer hosiery, which has sparked a bit of a following.
The look is said to have an aging effect on the young royal, but everyone from Pippa Middleton to Hayden Panettiere has picked up on the trend. And as the weather in the UK rapidly gets colder, the number of nude tight lovers is only going to increase.
So we welcome Debenhams' announcement that it is launching a range of 'invisible' hosiery for all skin tones today.

The tights will be available in various different shades to ensure that those with olive, Indian, mixed race and black skin will also be able to try out the trend.
Debenhams has reduced shine of the leg-wear, meaning that you get the warmth offered by a pair of tights, but noone else will notice you have got anything on your legs.

Colours available include olive, bronze and coffee along with fairer skin tones such as beige and honey. They are all available in three sizes and are priced at £3.50 a pair.
Debenhams hosiery buyer, Joanna Townsend, said: 'Nude hosiery is one of fashion’s best kept secrets.
Distorted: Traditional 'nude' tights, like those favoured by Kate Middleton, do not suit those with darker skin tones

'It’s a woman’s weapon to fight the onset of winter, when wearing black opaque tights is just too depressing on a golden autumn’s day.
'Producing product in nude colours should never take a one-size-fits-all approach, and we are confident that these tights will appeal to women of all ethnicities and ages.'
Traditional ‘natural’ or ‘nude’ tights made darker skin colours appear too light, and their shininess often distortes the natural shape of women's legs.

Telltale sheen: The Duchess of Cambridge has not set a foot wrong when it comes to designer frocks, but with almost every single outfit, she is wearing ageing shiny hosiery
Townsend adds: 'Our research identified a huge gap in the market for natural hosiery for darker skin tones.
'We had a fantastic reaction to a range of nude bras in varying skin tones earlier this year, so to offer these customers hosiery too was a no brainer.
'Our range is designed to be invisible when worn, no matter what your skin colour.'
