Desperate times call for desperate measures.
After dropping 3m viewers over the past three weeks, it looks like the makers of the rebooted Charlie's Angeles TV show may be ready to play their trump card.
Of course there's nothing like a girl-on-girl smooch to raise eyebrows and, perhaps, titillate some more viewers to tune in.
Minka Kelly is seen here sharing a lingering kiss with co-star Rachel Taylor while shooting scenes earlier this month in Miami Beach, Florida.
The pair were certainly not holding back as they locked lips while dressed in their swimwear.
Charlie's Angeles premiered on ABC last month to a modest 8.76m viewers. By the second week it had dipped to 7.11m, falling to 5.93m by episode three.
The show has also been
badly received by critics. The New York Daily News wrote of the series:
'St. Peter himself might not be able to save ABC's new remake of
Charlie's Angels.'
It was worse news for Kelly in the Hollywood Reporter, which wrote: 'It’s beyond heinous. It contains some of the worst acting of the last decade on network television, much of it by Minka Kelly.'
The show is based on the 1976 series of the same name, which starred Farrah Fawcett.
Back in August there was some behind-the-scenes drama when a crew member allegedly approached Minka and slapped her across the bottom while clutching a $100 bill in hi hand.
An set insider told Star magazine: 'It seems like it was meant to be a joke, but clearly it was inappropriate. Minka was shocked and absolutely irate. She was still fuming about it hours later.'
