Video: Djokovic eats Centre Court grass after winning Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic celebrated his first Wimbledon title by having a taste of the grass on Centre Court.
After meeting Rafael Nadal at the net following his 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 victory, the 24-year-old Serb walked back out onto the court, crouched to his knees and basked in the cheers from the 15,000 at the All England Club. Then his impromptu celebration led to him snatching up some blades of Wimbledon's green grass and putting them in his mouth.

Djokovic explained his herbivorous celebration after the match:
"I felt like an animal. I wanted to see how it tastes. It tastes good. It just came. I don't know. It came spontaneously really. I didn't plan to do it. You know, I didn't know what to do for my excitement and joy."
The grass-chomping drew immediate comparisons to LSU football coach Les Miles, who has been known to munch on some blades of grass during games. Miles heard about Djokovic's move and Tweeted about it later Sunday:

For Novak's sake, it's a good thing he didn't win the French Open. Red clay wouldn't have gone down as easy as the green grass of Centre Court.
