Drop what you're doing, fans of fashion! It's time for yet another round of the game that we non-celebs love and that actual celebs probably hate. Today, we put actresses-turned-designers Jessica Simpson and Katie Holmes head-to-head wearing the same embellished Isabel Marant jacket. The only question is ... who wore it better?

Jessica chose to pair her jacket with Daisy Dukes, a white T-shirt, and platform heels while out last month in New York City. The 30-year-old singer/actress accessorized with a large turquoise ring, an oversize patterned handbag, and, of course, her football player fiance Eric Johnson.
In the Big Apple two days later, Mrs. Tom Cruise wore her jacket with dark denim flares, nude shoes, and a pair of dark shades. The 32-year-old "Kennedys" star also sported a ponytail, minimal jewelry, and toted a basic black bag.

Unfortunately, there's really no way Jessica could win this one, thanks to her tacky shorts. While Jess has made plenty of fashion missteps, Katie Holmes is almost always chic -- both on and off the red carpet -- and here is no exception. The former "Dawson's Creek" diva -- who is half of the upscale label Holmes & Yang -- looks polished and pulled together just by keeping everything other than her busy jacket simple. Who knew that Joey Potter would grow up to be such a stylish celeb?
