Simpson sisters Jessica and Ashlee have announced a new tween clothing line, making fashion, not singing, the new family business.
Jessica has been raking in the big bucks -– she's set to reach $1 billion in sales by the end of 2011 -- since she started the Jessica Simpson Collection, featuring trendy clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories for women.

Now she's hoping to take over the tween market too, with Ashlee's help and "savvy rocker" style.
"Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand," Jessica tells Women's Wear Daily. "I'm excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today's tweens."

Ashlee, who split from her Fall Out Boy hubby, Pete Wentz, in February, adds, "My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion."
The younger set can start shopping for the sportswear, denim and activewear at Macy's and Lord & Taylor in a few months, just in time for back-to-school season.
