Fashion week shows are generally pretty sombre affairs.
Those in the front row tap away furiously on their Blackberrys, cameramen shout at people to clear the catwalk, people having a quiet chat are violently shushed...
But convention went out of the window during yesterday's Amores Perros show at Trendation fashion week in Buenos Aires.
Designers Karen Reichardt and Mariela
Schiavo always ensure a celebrity-packed front row by giving their
stunning models the finest accessories in the land - a collection of
Argentina's cutest dogs.
While the models struggle to keep their temporary pets under control, audience members smile and laugh at the spectacle, with many crouching down to give the dogs a pat.
And if the models' thigh-skimming bodycon dresses seem disappointingly unoriginal - and their 'shoes' completely unwearable - that's because we're not supposed to be looking at them.

For their latest collection, the duo
took inspiration from the Seventies - showing that some fashion trends
are common to both humans and dogs. They used floral prints, bright
colours, peace signs and big hats.
A lot of the clothes were made from elasticated material to help dress the four-limbed animals. But some of the 'eveningwear' was made from satin, ribbons and tulle.
Reichardt and Schiavo ensured they provided outfits for all situations and seasons including pyjamas, T-shirts, swimsuits, checked shirts and denim skirts.
Dogwalkers in Argentina's capital - who famously walk up to 15 dogs at a time - will have their work cut out for them getting the pets ready for an afternoon stroll.
