When it comes to style, she is
usually overshadowed by her five-year-old daughter, who can frequently
be found on best-dressed lists.
But Katie Holmes proved she can put together an outfit just as well as fashionable Suri, who apparently insists on dressing herself.
The 32-year-old actress went for a casual but on-trend look as she headed to a market in Los Angeles yesterday.
She chose a simple but stylish combination of a cream blouse loosely tucked into a pair of bell bottom blue jeans.
Katie knew just how to work the wide-leg denim and the brunette wore a pair of heeled black ankle boots underneath, which made her pins even longer.
The silhouette was fashionable but Katie's choice of a denim fabric helped her achieve a look that was casual as well as cool.
The brunette was sporting messy locks
and was photographed sneezing a couple of times as she left her car
before entering the Los Angeles market.
She emerged a short time later carrying a small red paper bag.
Katie took daughter Suri, who is her only child with husband Tom Cruise, 49, to attend lessons at school this week.
The New Leadership Academy in Los Angeles is a private elementary school which does not stick to a regular syllabus.
